Depending on the year of manufacture and body type, the mounting points may vary slightly.
How to remove the front bumper
- open the hood.
- under the hood, we unscrew the three screws (twisted from top to bottom) that secure the upper part of the front bumper (radiator grille).
- on the bottom side, we unscrew the seven screws that secure the lower part (twisted from bottom to top).
- we turn the wheels depending on which side to disassemble.
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew three screws on each side, which fasten the fenders (front part).
- we move the fenders to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top), which fix the corners to the wings.
-in the inner part of the wing, approximately under the edge of the headlights, unscrew one screw on each side (you will need a long collar with a torx nozzle).
- release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
- release the retainers under the hood.
- with an assistant, we carefully pull the bumper forward (we look so as not to break the wires and hoses).
- disconnect the connectors of electrical equipment.
- disconnect the headlight washer hoses (if any).
How to remove the rear bumper
- open the trunk lid.
- remove the rear lights (Sedan: in the trunk opening, remove the linings and unscrew the four screws under them. Hatchback: in the side panels of the trunk, we pull out the plugs and unscrew the plastic retainers under them).
- under the taillights, we pull out two plastic retainers (you need to pry with a flat screwdriver and pull up), which attach the upper part of the rear bumper.
- remove the rear trunk panel trim (removed up) and release the sides of the side panels.
- under the skins, we pull out the plugs and unscrew four 10mm nuts under them (you will need a cap head with a long collar. Please note that the nuts may fall into a hidden cavity).
- on the bottom side, we unscrew two screws (twisted from the bottom up), which fasten the lower part.
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew three screws on each side, which fasten the fenders (rear part).
- release the sides from the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
- release the latches under the taillights.
