Depending on the year of manufacture, the mounting points may vary slightly.
How to remove the front bumper
- open the hood.
- remove the hood lock lever (you need to press the latch with your finger and pull the lever up).
- we pull out six pistons (inserted from top to bottom) and remove the lining above the radiator grille.
- under the trim, we unscrew two screws (TORX 25) that secure the upper part of the front bumper (please note that these screws adjust the gaps, you need to put everything in its place during installation).
- on the bottom side, we unscrew three TORX 30 screws and four TORX 25 screws (twisted from the bottom up).
- turn the wheels to the side.
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew three screws on each side, which attach the fenders (front part) and one (twisted from bottom to top), which attach the corners to the wings (all TORX 25 screws).
- release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
- with the assistant, we remove the bumper forward (we look so as not to break the wires).
- disconnect the electrical equipment connectors (if any).
How to remove the rear bumper
- open the trunk lid.
- in the trunk opening, remove the plastic linings (held on the latches).
- unscrew two screws on each side and remove the taillights.
- unscrew the two screws and pull out the two pistons that secure the upper part of the rear bumper.
- on the bottom side, we unscrew the four screws (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the lower part.
- from the trunk, under the plugs, we unscrew four nuts (you will need a cap head of 10 mm).
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew six screws and pull out two pistons that attach the fenders.
- we unscrew one screw on each side, which fix the corners to the wings.
- release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
- release the latches in the rear light opening.
- with the assistant, we carefully remove the bumper back (we look behind the wires).
- we release the connectors of electrical equipment (if any).
