How to remove the front bumper
- open the hood.
- under the hood, we unscrew the six screws (twisted from top to bottom) that secure the upper part of the front bumper.
- on the bottom side, we unscrew seven screws (twisted from the bottom up), which fasten the lower part.
- we turn the wheels to the side and in the wheel arches we unscrew three screws on each side, which fasten the fenders and one (twisted from bottom to top), which fasten the corners to the wings.
- we move the fenders to the side and unscrew in the inner part two screws on each side (twisted from the side of the engine compartment), which attach the holders to the wings.
- with an assistant, we remove the front bumper forward (we look behind the wires).
- remove the temperature sensor and fog lamp connectors (if available).
How to remove the rear bumper
- remove the rear wheels (you can not remove them, but it will be more convenient).
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew three screws on each side, which fasten the fenders (rear part).
- we pull the fenders to the side and unscrew two screws (twisted from the bottom up) and one nut (below the level of the taillights) on each side.
- on the bottom side, we unscrew the three screws (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the lower part of the rear bumper.
- we release the latches in the trunk opening and remove the bumper back (we look for the wires).
- disconnect the license plate light and parking sensor connectors (if any).
