Depending on the year of manufacture and body type, the mounting points differ slightly.
How to remove the front bumper
- open the hood.
- under the hood, we unscrew the three screws that secure the upper part of the front bumper (radiator grille).
- on the bottom side, we release the three clamping pins that secure the lower part.
- we turn the wheels to the side (it will be more convenient if the wheels are removed).
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew the screws that secure the fenders (front part).
- we pull the slats to the side and unscrew two screws on each side, which attach the sides to the brackets.
- in the inner part of the wings, approximately under the edge of the headlights, unscrew two nuts (10 mm) on each side (you will need a cap with a long collar).
- release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
- with an assistant, we pull the bumper forward (we look so as not to break the wires and hoses).
- disconnect the connectors of electrical equipment.
- disconnect the headlight washer hoses (if any, liquid may flow from the tank).
How to remove the rear bumper
- open the trunk lid.
- remove the trunk lid seal.
- lift the trunk floor covering.
- unscrew the screws and remove the rear trunk trim panel up.
- unscrew the screws, pull out the pistons and release the side panels of the trunk.
- free up space under the side panels (you need to get access to the back of the wings.
- in the inner part of the wings, we unscrew four 10 mm nuts (five nuts each, depending on the body type) on each side.
- on the bottom side, we unscrew two screws (twisted from the bottom up).
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew one screw on each side, which fasten the fenders (rear part).
- push the slats to the side and unscrew the screws that secure the sides.
- on the bottom side, we unscrew two screws (twisted from the bottom up).
- release the latches in the fenders (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).
- with an assistant, we gently pull the bumper back (we look at the wires).
- disconnect the parking sensor connectors (if any).
