Depending on the year of manufacture, the mounting points may vary slightly.
How to remove the front bumper
- open the hood.
- under the hood, pull out two pistons and remove the plastic cover (held on latches).
- under the cover plate, unscrew the two screws (twisted from top to bottom) that secure the upper part of the front bumper.
- on the bottom side, we unscrew seven screws that attach the lower part to the plastic protection (you can unscrew the far screws and remove the bumper along with the protection).
- turn the wheels to the side.
- in the wheel arches, we screw in three screws on each side, which fasten the fenders (front part) and one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top), which fasten the corners to the wings.
- we take the fenders to the side and through the wheel arches, in the inner part of the wings, unscrew one screw on each side (you will need a long crank and a cap head).
- release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
- with an assistant, we pull off the bumper in front (we look so as not to break the wires and hoses).
- disconnect the connectors of electrical equipment.
- disconnect the headlight washer hoses (liquid may flow, you need to prepare a container or plug).
How to remove the rear bumper
- open the trunk lid.
- near the rear lights, remove the pads (they are held on the latches, you need to pry and pull on yourself).
- under the pads, unscrew two screws on each side and remove the rear lights (held on the retainers).
- under the taillights, we unscrew two screws (twisted from top to bottom) and pull out two plastic retainers (you need to lift them with a screwdriver and pull them up), which attach the upper part of the rear bumper.
- we unscrew three screws from the bottom side (twisted from the bottom up), which fasten the lower part.
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew the six screws that secure the fenders.
- release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
- release the latches under the taillights.
- release the latches in the trunk opening.
- with an assistant, we gently pull the bumper back (we look at the wires).
