How to remove the front bumper
- open the hood.
- remove the hood lock lever (you need to press your finger on the lock on the lever and pull it up).
- remove the plastic lining above the radiator grille (you need to unscrew five screws and release them from the retainers)
- under the trim, we unscrew the three screws (twisted from top to bottom) that secure the upper part of the front bumper (radiator grille).
- on the bottom side, we unscrew seven screws that secure the plastic protective panel (you can remove it without it, but it is more convenient to put it back).
- turn the wheels to the left or right.
- in the wheel arches, we screw in three screws on each side, which fasten the fenders (front part) and one each, which fasten the corners to the wings.
- we release the latches in the wings (we take the corner and pull it with a jerk). You can also unscrew the four nuts and remove them together with the guides.
- with an assistant, we pull the bumper in front (we look at the wires).
- disconnect the connectors of electrical equipment.
How to remove the rear bumper
- open the trunk lid.
- remove the back panel trim.
- we release the side panels of the trunk (open the hatches).
- we unscrew four nuts behind the panels (you will need a cap head, do not drop the nuts into the hidden cavity).
- we release the plastic pads near the taillights from the retainers and remove them.
- under the pads, unscrew the four screws, release them from the retainers in the wings and remove the taillights (disconnect the electrical connectors).
- under the taillights, we lift the mounting strips and release the upper part from the guides.
- on the bottom side, we unscrew six (maybe two or four) screws that secure the lower part.
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew three screws on each side, which fasten the fenders and one each, which fasten the corners to the wings.
- release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
- with an assistant, we gently pull the bumper back (we look at the wires).
- disconnect the connectors of electrical equipment.
