Depending on the year of manufacture and body type, the mounting points may vary slightly.
How to remove the front bumper
- lift up the hood.
- we unscrew the two screws that secure the air intake (it is unnecessary to remove the air intake, there is a clip hidden under it).
- we pull out six clips and unscrew the four screws that secure the top of the bumper.
- we climb under the car, unscrew ten bolts and pull out two clips that attach the lower facings.
- bend the middle lining down and pull out two more clips under it.
- in order not to remove the wheels, you need to turn them to the side.
- (on the left and right sides) pull out the three clips that secure the fender, pull the fender to the side and unscrew the screw (8mm) that attaches the corner to the plastic bracket in the fender.
- we release the latches in the wings, take the corner and pull hard on ourselves.
- now the bumper is held by two locking pins (marked in the picture with a red circle). It is necessary to pull the front bumper forward with an assistant (we look so that the wires and hoses do not break).
- release the electrical connectors (if any).
- (if installed) disconnect the common headlight washer nozzle hose from the pump (liquid will flow out, prepare the container).
How to remove the rear bumper
- open the trunk lid.
- in the trunk opening, we remove two plugs and unscrew two screws under them.
- we release the edges of the side linings of the trunk (you need to get access to the rear of the taillights).
- under the facings, unscrew three nuts on each side and remove the taillights (they are held on fixing clips in the wings, you need to pull them parallel to the wings).
- under the taillights, we unscrew one screw on each side.
- from the bottom side, pull out two clips and unscrew the four screws that secure the bottom of the bumper.
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew two screws on each side.
- release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
- (we need two people) carefully remove the bumper back (we look behind the wires).
- disconnect the parking assistant connectors.
