How to remove the front bumper
- under the hood, we unscrew the screws that secure the radiator grille and the upper part of the front bumper.
- unscrew one screw on each side and remove the direction indicators.
- under the turn signals, pull out the clips.
- let's get under the car.
- we unscrew the six screws that secure the lower part.
- in order not to remove the wheels, you need to turn them to the side.
- (on the left and right sides) unscrew the three screws that secure the fender, pull the fender to the side and unscrew the screw (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the corner to the wing.
- now the most difficult part, on the side of the engine compartment, we unscrew the six nuts that attach the brackets to the body. You can also unscrew the brackets from the bumper, but this is even more difficult.
- remove the bumper forward (make sure that the wires and hoses don't break).
- release the electrical connectors (if any).
- disconnect the headlight washer hoses (if any).
How to remove the rear bumper
- open the trunk lid.
- we unscrew two screws in the trunk opening.
- we unscrew two screws on each side, release the latches and remove the taillights.
- under the taillights, we unscrew one screw on each side.
- on the bottom side, we unscrew two screws.
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew three screws on each side.
- we unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top), which fix the corners to the wings.
- now the most difficult part, we unscrew the four nuts (there may be two nuts, depending on the body type) that attach the brackets to the rear panel of the trunk.
- (need two people) carefully remove the bumper back from the guide brackets in the wings.
