Depending on the year of manufacture, the mounting points may vary slightly.
How to remove the front bumper
- open the hood.
- press the lock with your finger, pull up and remove the hood lock lever.
- we unscrew two screws and pull out four pistons that attach the lining above the radiator grille.
- we release the front edge from the latches, then pull it towards us and remove the lining.
- under the trim, unscrew the two screws that secure the upper part of the front bumper (radiator grille).
- remove the plastic pads between the headlights and fenders (hold on to the latches, pull up).
- under the pads, we unscrew three screws on each side, which fasten the sides of the bumper.
- on the bottom side, we unscrew nine screws (twisted from the bottom up), which fasten the lower part.
- turn the wheels to the side.
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew three screws on each side, which fasten the fenders (front part).
- we push the fenders to the side and unscrew one screw on each side, which fix the corners to the wings.
- release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
- we release the radiator grille from the retainers.
- with the assistant, we remove the bumper forward (we look so as not to break the wires).
- disconnect the connectors of electrical equipment.
How to remove the rear bumper
- open the trunk lid.
- unscrew the mounting nuts from the trunk and remove the taillights.
- from the bottom side, unscrew two screws and pull out five pistons (twisted and inserted from the bottom up).
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew four screws that attach the fenders and two screws (twisted from the bottom up) that attach the corners to the wings.
- release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
- release the latches in the rear light opening.
- with the assistant, we carefully remove the bumper back (we look behind the wires).
- we release the connectors of electrical equipment (if any).
