How to remove the front bumper
- open the hood.
- under the hood, we pull out four pistons, release them from the latches and remove the plastic lining (held on the latches).
- under the trim, we unscrew the six screws that secure the upper part of the front bumper.
- on the bottom side, we unscrew eight screws (twisted from the bottom up), which fasten the lower part.
- turn the wheels to the side.
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew three screws on each side, which fasten the fenders (front part).
- we move the fenders to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top), which fix the corners to the wings.
- release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
- release the latches near the headlights and in front of the radiator grille.
- with the assistant, we remove the bumper forward (we look so as not to break the wires).
- disconnect the electrical equipment connectors (if any).
How to remove the rear bumper
- open the trunk lid.
- we unscrew the fasteners from the trunk and remove the taillights.
- we unscrew two screws in the trunk opening (twisted from top to bottom).
- on the bottom side, unscrew two screws and pull out three pistons (twisted and inserted from the bottom up).
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew three screws on each side, which fasten the fenders (rear part).
- behind the fenders, we pull out one piston on each side, which fasten the corners to the wings.
- release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
- release the latches under the taillights.
- with the assistant, we carefully remove the bumper back (we look behind the wires).
- we release the connectors of electrical equipment (if any).
