Depending on the year of manufacture and body type, the mounting points differ.

How to remove the front bumper

- open the hood.

- release the hood lock lever. You need to lift the metal lever lock and use a flat screwdriver to straighten the ends of the lever to the sides.

- (1997-2000) we unscrew the four screws (twisted from top to bottom) that secure the radiator grille. We remove the turn indicators (you need to release the plastic retainers on the springs from the engine compartment with your finger, then pull the turn indicators forward) and unscrew the two screws under them.

- (2000-2005) unscrew the two screws, release them from the retainers and remove the radiator grille. Under the radiator grille, we unscrew the four screws (twisted from top to bottom) that secure the upper part of the front bumper.

- turn the wheels to the side.

- in the wheel arches, we unscrew three screws on each side, which fasten the fenders (front part).

- behind the fenders, we unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top), which fix the corners to the wings.

- on the bottom side, we unscrew the three screws (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the engine compartment protection.

- with an assistant, we remove the front bumper forward from the guide brackets in the wings.

- disconnect the connectors of electrical equipment and headlight washer hoses (if any).

How to remove the rear bumper

- (Sedan 2000-2005) open the trunk lid. In the side panels of the trunk, open the hatches, unscrew three nuts on each side and remove the rear lights. Under the taillights, we unscrew two screws on each side.

- (Sedan 1997-2000, wagon 1997-2005) open the trunk lid (door) and unscrew two (four in the wagon) screws in the trunk opening.

- in the wheel arches, we unscrew three screws on each side, which attach the sides to the fenders.

- from the bottom side, we unscrew five (or seven, depending on the body type) screws (twisted from the bottom up).

- release the latches in the wings (pull on yourself and back).

- with the assistant, we remove the bumper back (we look behind the wires).

- disconnect the electrical equipment connectors (if any).
