How to remove the front bumper

- open the hood.

- under the hood, we unscrew the four screws (twisted from top to bottom) that secure the radiator grille.

- we remove the radiator grille (it is held on latches, you need to pull on yourself).

- under the grille, we unscrew the four screws that secure the upper part of the front bumper.

- on the bottom side, we unscrew seven screws (twisted from the bottom up), which fasten the lower part.

- turn the wheels inside out (depending on the disassembly side).

- in the wheel arches, we unscrew three screws on each side, which fasten the fenders (front part).

- we unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top), which fix the corners to the wings.

- we release the latches in the wings (we take the corner and pull it towards us).

- with an assistant, we remove the bumper forward (we look for wires and hoses).

- disconnect the electrical equipment connectors.

- disconnect the headlight washer hoses from the tank (if any).

 

How to remove the rear bumper

Sedan and wagon are mounted almost identically.

- open the trunk lid (door).

- we release the edges of the side panels of the trunk (if there are open hatches) and unscrew under them one plastic fixing screw on each side, which fasten the rear lights.

- pull out the taillights, disconnect the connectors.

- under the taillights, we unscrew the four screws (twisted from top to bottom) that secure the upper part of the rear bumper.

- in the wheel arches, we unscrew four screws on each side, which fasten the fenders.

- we move the fenders to the side, pull out one piston on each side (inserted from the bottom up), which fix the corners to the wings and unscrew one screw.

- we unscrew the whorls from the bottom side (twisted from bottom to top), which fasten the lower part.

- release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).

- release the latches under the taillights and in the trunk opening.

- with the assistant, we remove the bumper back (we look behind the wires).

- disconnect the electrical equipment connectors (if any).
