The first and second restyling (facelift) bumpers are attached in the same way.
How to remove the front bumper
- open the hood.
- under the hood, we unscrew the four screws (twisted from top to bottom) that secure the upper part of the front bumper.
- in the lower part, we unscrew the three screws (twisted from bottom to top) that attach the bumper to the front support panel.
- turning the wheel inwards.
- in the wheel arch, we unscrew three screws (three each on the left and right sides).
- we remove the sides from the guide elements in the wings (we take them by the corners and pull them forward parallel to the ground, it is better to do this together).
- disconnect the connectors from the temperature sensor and fog lights.
How to remove the rear bumper
- lift up the trunk lid.
- we remove the pads under the rear lights (they are held on latches, you need to pry them from the trunk opening, then pull them towards you).
- we unscrew two screws under the pads.
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew two screws on each side, which fasten the fenders (rear part), and one each, which fasten the corners to the guide profiles.
Then you can shoot either with a metal amplifier, or without.
- 1) on the bottom side, unscrew the four screws that attach the bumper to the amplifier (keep in mind that these screws are easy to tear off the edges).
- 2) unscrew the four nuts that attach the metal amplifier to the body.
- release the sides from the guide profiles in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
- with the assistant, we remove the bumper back (please note that the upper part of the bumper enters the grooves in the amplifier and if the screws were unscrewed from the bottom side, then you need to lift the entire bumper up during dismantling).
- if there is a parking sensor, then we release the common connector.
