How to remove the front bumper
- open the hood.
- remove the hood lock lever (you need to press on the latch and pull the lever up).
- we unscrew the five screws (twisted from top to bottom) that secure the upper part of the bumper (radiator grille).
- on the bottom side, we unscrew nine screws (twisted from the bottom up), which fasten the wheel arch extensions, fenders and trim.
- turn the wheels to the left or right.
- in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws (three on the left and three on the right side).
- we release the wheel arch extensions from the bumper (they are held on the latches, we pull on ourselves starting from the bottom).
- we bend the fenders to the side and unscrew one screw on each side, which fix the corners to the wings.
- in the lower front grille, pull out two plugs (you will need a thin flat screwdriver) and unscrew the two screws.
- we release the latches in the wings (we take the corner and pull it with a jerk).
- (need an assistant) remove the bumper forward (look for wires).
- disconnect the connectors from the electronic components.
How to remove the rear bumper
- lift up the trunk lid (rear door).
- in the side upholstery of the luggage compartment, open the openings (you need to access the inside of the rear lights).
- we unscrew two plastic fasteners with our hands and remove the rear lights (they are held on the retainers, we pull them towards us).
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew the screws that secure the fenders and wheel arch extensions.
- on the bottom side, unscrew the two screws that attach the wheel arch extensions, pull out the two spacer pistons and unscrew the four screws that attach the lower part of the rear bumper.
- we release the rear part of the wheel arch extensions from the latches (pull them up from the bottom), unscrew one screw on each side under them, which fasten the corners to the wings.
- we release the sides from the latches in the wings (pull the corners with a jerk towards ourselves).
- we release the latches under the taillights (you need to lift the latches with a flat screwdriver).
- release the latches in the trunk opening (just pull on yourself).
- with the assistant, we remove the bumper back (we look so as not to break the wires).
- we release the connectors of electrical components.
