Mounting locations may vary slightly, depending on the year of manufacture.
How to remove the front bumper
- lift up the hood.
- under the hood, we unscrew the four screws that secure the radiator grille.
In the restyling from 2020, it is not necessary to remove the radiator grille, the latches behind it are released easier.
- we release the lower part from the latches (we pull it towards ourselves, loosening it to the left and right sides) and remove the radiator grille (please note that there is an electrical connector in the grille behind the emblem).
- under the radiator grille, unscrew the three screws that secure the guide profile (or when removing it, release the upper latches from the profile).
- on the bottom side, we unscrew twelve screws (twisted from the bottom up).
- turn the wheels to the side.
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew three screws on each side, which fasten the fenders (front part).
- we release the wheel arch extensions (it is unnecessary to remove them completely) from the latches (we pull them up from the bottom. To avoid breaking the latches, slide your hand between the fender and bumper and squeeze them with your fingers).
- (on both sides) unscrew the screw that secures the angle to the guide profile in the wing.
- (on both sides) release the latches in the wings (pull the corner towards you).
- (from 2020) release the latches behind the radiator grille (pull on yourself, the latches should come out easily).
- with an assistant, we remove the bumper forward (we look so as not to break the wires and hoses).
- disconnect the electrical equipment connectors.
- (if installed) disconnect the headlight washer hose (please note that liquid will leak out of the tank).
How to remove the rear bumper
- open the trunk lid.
- in the side linings of the trunk, open the hatches.
- under the hatches, unscrew the fasteners, pull out the electrical connectors (you need to pull out the red retainer, then disconnect the connector), and remove the taillights.
- on the bottom side, we unscrew the two screws that attach the wheel arch extensions and pull out the four spacer pistons that attach the lower part of the rear bumper.
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew three screws on each side, which fasten the fenders.
- we release the rear part of the wheel arch extensions from the latches (you need to pull on yourself starting from the bottom up. Put your hand between the fender and bumper and squeeze the latches with your fingers, while pulling the expander towards you).
- behind the wheel arak expanders, we pull out one piston on each side, which fasten the corners to the wings.
- release the latches in the wings (marked with blue arrows, pull the sides towards you).
- we release the latches under the taillights (you need to lift them with a flat screwdriver).
- with the assistant, we remove the bumper back (pay attention to the wires).
- disconnect the connectors of electrical equipment.
