Depending on the year of manufacture and body type, the mounting points differ.

How to remove the front bumper

- open the hood.

- under the hood, we pull out seven pistons (inserted from top to bottom), which attach the bumper from above.

- from the bottom we unscrew three screws (twisted from the bottom up).

- turn the wheels one by one inside the wheel arch.

- in the wheel arches, we unscrew five screws on each side, which fasten the fenders (front half).

- release the latches in the fenders and under the headlights (pull the corners towards you)

- with an assistant, we remove the bumper forward along with the lower trim (be careful not to break the wires and hoses).

- disconnect the connectors of the fog lights, parking assistant and temperature sensor (if any).

- if the headlight cleaning system is installed, then disconnect the hoses.

 

How to remove the rear bumper

Volvo S80 II (2006–2016)

- open the trunk lid.

- in the wheel arches, we unscrew four screws on each side, which fasten the fenders (rear half).

- in the lower part, we unscrew two screws.

- we release the sides from the latches of the guide profiles in the wings and under the taillights (we take the corner and pull it towards ourselves).

- with the assistant, we remove the bumper back (we look behind the wires).

- disconnect the parking assistant connectors (if any).

 

Volvo V70 III (2006–2016)

- open the trunk lid.

- in the trunk opening, we remove two shock-absorbing elements.

- in the lower part, unscrew the four screws (twisted from bottom to top).

- in the wheel arches, we unscrew four screws on each side, which fasten the fenders (rear half).

- behind the fenders, we unscrew one screw on each side, which fix the corners to the wings.

- we release the latches in the fenders and under the taillights (we take the corner and pull it towards us).

- remove the bumper back (preferably together).

- disconnect the connectors of electrical equipment.
