How to remove the front bumper

- lift up and fix the hood.

- we pull out nine pistons (inserted from top to bottom) that attach the upper part of the front bumper (radiator grille).

- on the bottom side, we unscrew the six screws (TORX, twisted from bottom to top) that secure the lower part.

- turn the wheels to the side.

- in the wheel arches, we unscrew four screws on each side (TORX), which fasten the fenders (front part).

- we release the front part of the wheel arch extensions (you need to move the fender to the side, put your hand between the bumper and the fender, squeeze the latches with your fingers and pull the wheel arch expander towards you, from the bottom up).

- (on the left and right sides) pull the fender to the side and unscrew the two bolts (twisted from top to bottom. The far bolts are very inconveniently positioned and you will need a suitable tool).

- we release the sides from the retainers in the wings (we take the corner and pull it down and towards ourselves).

- with the assistant, we remove the bumper forward (pay attention to the wires and hoses).

- disconnect the electrical connectors (please note that the wires are short).

- if the headlight cleaning system is installed, disconnect the hoses.

How to remove the rear bumper

- open the trunk door.

- in the trunk opening, pull out the thrust shock absorbers (you need to turn your hands counterclockwise by 45° and pull them towards you).

- on the bottom side, unscrew the four screws (TORX, twisted from the bottom up).

- in the wheel arches, we unscrew five screws on each side, which fasten the fenders (rear part).

- now the most difficult part. The wheel arch expander on the wing is included in the bumper trim. It is necessary to release part of the wheel arch expander on the wing (it is held on internal pistons, you need to pull it towards yourself) and detach it from engagement in the bumper trim.

- release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).

- release the latches under the taillights (pull on yourself).

- with the assistant, we remove the bumper back (we look behind the wires).

- disconnect the connectors of electrical components (usually a common connector on the right side).
