Depending on the year of manufacture, the mounting points are slightly different.
How to remove the front bumper
- (if any) unscrew the nuts and remove the headlight cleaners.
- open the hood.
- under the hood, we pull out six pistons (inserted from top to bottom, you need to press the pin, then pull out the piston), which attach the upper half of the front bumper.
- from the bottom side, pull out two pistons (two more rivets can be installed).
- in the front part, we pull out two covers and unscrew two screws under them.
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew one screw on each side (TORX), which fasten the pressure plate (it is unnecessary to unscrew completely, just loosen the plate).
- we release the sides from the retainers in the wings (we take the corner and pull it towards us).
- with the assistant, we remove the bumper forward (pay attention to the wires and hoses).
- disconnect the connectors of fog lights and sensors.
- if the headlight cleaning system is installed, disconnect the common hose.
How to remove the rear bumper
- open the trunk lid.
- in the trunk, remove the battery, remove the rear panel trim, unscrew the antenna connector mounting nut.
- through the holes in the back panel, unscrew four nuts (you need a cap head).
- from the bottom side, pull out six pistons (inserted from the bottom up).
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew one screw on each side (TORX), which fasten the pressure plate (it is unnecessary to unscrew completely, it is enough to loosen the plate to free the edge of the bumper).
- release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
- with the assistant, we remove the bumper back (we look so as not to break the wires).
- if there is a parking assistant, disconnect the connectors.
