How to remove the front bumper
- raise the hood.
- under the hood, pull out four pistons (inserted from top to bottom).
- release the lower part from the latches and remove the radiator grille.
- under the radiator grille, unscrew the four screws (twisted from top to bottom).
- turn the wheels inside the arch.
- we unscrew four screws on each side, which fasten the front part of the fenders.
- we release the front part of the wheel arch extensions (pull on ourselves starting from the bottom).
- push back the slats and unscrew the two screws that secure the sides.
- on the bottom side, unscrew the four quick-release screws (you need to turn 90 degrees), release them from the latches and remove the cover.
- under the cover, we unscrew the six screws (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the lower part of the front bumper.
- disconnect the electrical connector of the wiring harness.
- disconnect the hoses of the headlight washing system (liquid will flow out).
- release the latches in the wings (pull on yourself).
- release the latches under the radiator grille.
- with the assistant, we remove the bumper forward.
How to remove the rear bumper
- open the trunk lid.
- in the trunk opening, remove the plastic side panels (they are held on the latches, you need to pry and pull on yourself).
- under the panels, unscrew one screw on each side, release the retainers and remove the rear fog lights.
- on the bottom side, unscrew the four screws (two screws are hidden behind the mudguards) and pull out the four pistons that secure the lower part.
- in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws and release the rear part of the fenders.
- behind the fenders, we pull out one piston on each side (inserted from top to bottom), which fasten the corners to the wings.
- release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
- release the latches in the trunk opening (push down on the latches with a flat screwdriver and pull towards you).
- with the assistant, we remove the bumper back (we look so as not to break the wires).
- disconnect the common parking sensor connector.
