Depending on the year of manufacture, the mounting points may vary slightly.
How to remove the front bumper
- open the hood.
- under the hood, we pull out four clips (you need to unscrew the center screw, then pull out the clip), which fasten the radiator grille.
- with a jerk, we release the lower part from the latches (pull it towards us) and remove the radiator grille.
- under the radiator grille, we unscrew the four screws (twisted from top to bottom) that secure the upper part of the front bumper.
- on the bottom side, release the four quick-release latches(you need to turn 90° with a flat screwdriver) and remove the cover (it is held on the latches, we pull forward).
- unscrew the ten screws (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the lower part.
- (on both sides) unscrew the two screws, pull out the three clips and remove the front half of the fender.
- (on both sides) unscrew the two bolts (twisted from bottom to top) that attach the side to the wing.
- (on both sides) in the inner part of the wing, we unscrew the screw that secures the bumper to the headlight.
- on the right side, disconnect the two hoses of the headlight washing system (liquid will flow out, you need to prepare the container).
- on the left side, disconnect the common connector of electrical equipment.
- release the retainers in the wings (pull the corners down).
- with the assistant we remove the bumper forward.
How to remove the rear bumper
- open the trunk lid.
- in the trunk opening, pull out two clips.
- near the rear lights, remove the pads (pull on yourself).
- under the pads, we unscrew two screws on each side, which fasten the rear lights and the upper part of the bumper.
- release the retainers in the fenders and remove the taillights.
- on the bottom side, we unscrew two screws in the sides and two bolts that secure the lid (the lid can not be removed).
- bend the lid down and unscrew the two screws (twisted from the bottom up).
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew one screw on each side that attaches the corners to the wings, one screw and one clip that attaches the fenders.
- we release the latches in the wings (we take the corner and pull it towards us).
- with the assistant, we remove the bumper back (we look behind the wires).
- disconnect the common connector of electrical equipment.
