Depending on the year of manufacture and body type, the mounting points may vary slightly.
How to remove the front bumper
- open the hood.
- under the hood, unscrew the two screws and pull out the two pistons that secure the front bumper and radiator grille.
- on the bottom side, we unscrew eight screws (twisted from the bottom up), which fasten the lower part.
- turn the wheels to the side.
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew three screws on each side, which fasten the fenders (front part).
- push the fenders to the side and unscrew two screws on each side (twisted from the bottom up), which attach the corners of the bumper to the fenders (pay attention to these screws, they are easy to break).
- with an assistant, we remove the front bumper forward (we look so as not to break the wires).
- release the fog lamp connectors (if any).
How to remove the rear bumper
- open the trunk lid.
- we unscrew two screws in the trunk opening.
- in the trunk, remove the facings (you need to get access to the rear of the taillights and rear panel).
- we unscrew the nuts behind the side panels and remove the taillights.
- under the taillights, pull out two clips
- on the bottom side, we unscrew the four screws (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the lower part.
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew the screws that secure the fenders.
- we take the fenders to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from the bottom up, which fix the corners of the bumper to the wings.
- now you need to unscrew the six nuts that attach the brackets to the rear panel (four nuts are unscrewed from the trunk and two from the bottom side. Please note that the studs on which the nuts are screwed are easy to break).
- with the assistant, we remove the bumper back (we look behind the wires).
- if there is, disconnect the connectors of electrical equipment.
