Depending on the year of manufacture and body type, the mounting points differ slightly.
How to remove the front bumper
- open the hood.
- under the hood, we unscrew the four screws (twisted from top to bottom) that secure the radiator grille.
- remove the radiator grille (it is held on the latches, you need to pull on yourself).
- under the radiator grille, unscrew the two screws that secure the upper part of the front bumper.
- on the bottom side, we unscrew the eight screws that secure the lower part.
- depending on the side, we turn out the wheels.
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew four screws on each side, which fasten the fenders (front part).
- we unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top), which fix the corners to the wings.
- release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
- with an assistant, we remove the front bumper forward (we look for wires and hoses).
- disconnect the fog lamp connectors (if any).
- if the car is equipped with headlight washers, disconnect the hose from the tank (please note: if there is liquid in the tank, it will leak out).
How to remove the rear bumper
- open the trunk lid.
- we release the side panels of the trunk (you need to get access to the rear of the taillights).
- we release the connectors behind the skins, unscrew one plastic screw on each side (in the wagon body there will be nuts instead of screws) and remove the rear lights.
- (in the wagon body) under the taillights, we unscrew one screw on each side, which fix the upper part of the rear bumper.
- on the bottom side, we unscrew four (six in the wagon body) screws (twisted from bottom to top), which fasten the lower part.
- in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws and remove the mudguards.
- unscrew the screws that secure the slats (rear part).
- behind the fenders, we unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from top to bottom), which fix the corners to the wings.
- release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).
- we release the latches under the taillights (you need to lift the retainers with a screwdriver).
- with an assistant, we remove the rear bumper back (we look behind the wires).
- remove the common electrical connector.
